Michael A. “Duffy” Dyer, ICF-ACC
Michael “Duffy” Dyer is a Coach, Business Executive and 30+ years retired military Senior Officer with 40+ years of extensive experience in organizational leadership, management, and leading elite teams across the globe. He has an innate ability to foster consensus through collaboration and community partnering with more than 14 years of cross-cultural work experience. From the Pentagon to the Far East Asia, and even Antarctica, Duffy Dyer has led organizations large and small in a myriad of capacities.
Following the military, he served as the McMurdo Area Director supporting the National Science Foundation responsible for leadership, management and oversight of all functions for Western Antarctic Science operations. More recently, he was CEO of Shackleton Group, Inc., a private corporation specializing in the delivery of a full range of business organizational development products and professional services.
He is currently President and Founder of his own Company, DYER Global Solutions, LLC (DGS). Duffy’s strengths center on being a visionary Leader, Team & Relationship-builder, Coach, and Mediator. Accordingly, DGS specializes in providing individual & team leadership development, education, and coaching; evolutionary strategic planning and direction; and organizational assessment and design. DGS’ approach to clients mirrors his ardent focus on “Servant Leadership.” He thrives on interacting with people and is inspired when able to contribute to individuals and teams developing and implementing enduring and impactful change in their lives and organizations.
Duffy has served an array of clients in a variety of arenas – US Military, US Government, Education, Commercial, and International – e.g. University of South Florida, University of South Carolina, University of San Diego, Health Resources and Services Administration, Prince William County Service Authority, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, Kashiwabara Corporation Japan, Amazon and Trend Micro.
