If you’re a woman in leadership, you’ve already proven yourself. The stripes are on your sleeve. The record is clear. You earned your seat.

But here’s the challenge — too often, even after years of leading, there’s a pull to ask permission. Permission to speak boldly. Permission to disrupt. Permission to say no.

That quiet conditioning is more dangerous than the doubting voice we’ve already talked about. Because this one disguises itself as “politeness,” “team harmony,” or “being a good colleague.”

The world doesn’t advance when strong leaders wait for permission.

The next level of leadership — your level — is about leading without apology, without permission, and without shrinking to fit someone else’s comfort zone.

The challenge I put to you today: Where are you still asking for permission when you should be leading?
